Dear Members, The Ramps are now finished and the final building inspection for a CO (Certificate of Occupancy) has been requested and we hope to have that inspection done by the end of this week. A CO is necessary to allow access by the public over the ramps for dock access. As soon as we have permission we will allow boats on the docks, and installation of frog hooks, etc. We will send an e-mail and post on the web as soon as this is cleared. Here’s what to expect when boats are allowed on the docks. New carts are on order (but not delivered yet) to replace those lost or destroyed by Sandy. It may make sense to bring your frog hooks, etc. from the Town launching ramp dock, by boat. Otherwise you must walk them up and through the building by hand. There is currently no ice or soda machine. There is water on the docks and the rest rooms are open. The pump out station is not operational as of yet. There is no gas currently available, as the test results have not been returned. We continue to ask everyone to respect the no trespassing posting and no kayaks or boats (or “frog hook” work) on the dock yet. We cannot emphasize enough this season that footwear is required to be worn at the club, in all areas especially the beach and in the shallow waters.
